This is me. 🙂

I admire creativity, everything around creativity.

It can be anything you create with your hands, a needle or with tools, an instrument, express with your body or your voice.

Whenever I catch a glimpse of creativity happening, I see magic unfolding itself, am captured and mesmerized by it. I have to stop to watch and listen, let curiosity run it’s course and give in.

And nearly always I am tempted to give it a try…

Creativity saved me.

Having been a fostered teenager myself, I know not everyone lives in a worryless “fluffy bunny world”, not everyone is being raised by flawless parents or lives in a loving relationship.

Being creative helped me getting out of an abusive relationship years ago and through it I gained confidence to step into my own power and coming closer to who I wanted to be.

Our life is not about where we come from, our life is about what we make of it and who we become!

For as long as I can think I have created something, taught by my teachers in school, that I can’t even remember the names of. But I do remember their lessons, I still carry them with me, still practice what they showed me. Later I chose to express myself through dancing (first oriental belly dance, then tribal style), crochet, knitting, embroidery, mixed craft and material projects, painting, sketching (this year even created a bullet journal for myself!) all of which I still take time to do today. And there are so many more creative directions I would like to explore. Some time ago I decided to learn to play an accoustic guitar (very much to the annoyance of the fingers of my left hand…) and changed that to Ukulele instead – fits better into the luggage and plans are there to be changed after all…

I am married and the mummy of an adorable 6 year old. For 11 years England was our home, and there beautiful Suffolk for 4 years and we loved it there! Life, however, has so much more to give!

In my life I moved 18 times. I love getting to know new places, meeting new people, new mentalities and traditions. Been born in Poland, raised in Germany (my foster family being “proper” German) and calling England my home for years (and still referring to it as my home) make it impossible for me to answer with a simple word when I am asked where I am from. A gypsy at heart I visualized travelling and learning creative traditions from all over our amazing earth!

Now, 3 years after visualizing I am finally there!

We (hubby, my daughter and myself) travel South East Asia most of the time, spending about 2 months per year in Europe.

Practicing Reiki for about over 15 years now (for friends and family and the occasional stranger in need) I am fascinated by energy medicine, Body Talk and all sorts of alternative healing methods. Convinced of the law of attraction I order “stuff” from the universe and am happy with my deliveries.

As a certified NLP Practitioner I am very much aware of how I can change my behaviour, how to set goals in an effective way and how to experience things the way I want them to be. This is indeed a very powerful tool to improve my life. Working with clients was never my intention when I first got interested in Neuro Linguistic Programming, however, the beauty of life is the big unknown about our future. Who doesn’t love nice surprises? 🙂

A very important value for me: fun. Life is fun! And it has to be. Of course there are times and situations that are not fun, at all, but here my mind tells me there is a lesson to learn and I will turn it into something positive or at least valuable.

Living in a mindful way is a must for me. That is one of the reasons why I rarely have pictures of for example our holidays as I experience most situations through my senses and not through a camera lense, which is a shame (thinking materialistic) and a blessing (thinking spiritually) at the same time. I am thankful for all the people who actually do take pictures and share them with me. For the future I will take more pictures and make videos as that is a responsibility that comes with having a homepage that I can not deny (and I know it will be a lot of fun too!). I decided to be very mindful about that as well!

I started with my very own approach into clearing/organising thoughts and also into meditation about 27 years ago, which I will share with you eventually. I am sure there are some ladies out there who will love this way of getting started as much as I did – and still enjoy doing.

Happiness is not a goal. Happiness is a state of mind and I can chose to feel happy, anytime, anywhere. It is my choice and my choice alone.

Of course there is so much more to say about me. Please click on “Blog” at the top of this page if you would like to read a little bit more about my world.
